A Long Walk To Water-Section 1

For our work today we have to answer these questions.

1. I think that we learn about what language he speaks and when he goes to school I learnt that only the boys go to school which is not the best and that he goes to school at age 11. Salva is in the Dinka tribe and is getting attacked from the rebels.

2. Salva while he is on his walk he is thinking about his family and wondering if they OK and if he was ever going to get to see them again. I think if I was ever in Salva's position I would be thinking the same thing where are my parents will I see them again.

3. Nya has to leave at morning and walks for 8 hours until she reaches the water(which isn't even clean water as well.) She has to carry and jerry can all the way there and their are thorns that she can step on. Then when she gets the water into the jerry can she has to put it on her head where a stand is and she has to carry it all the way home. I think if I was in that position I would get very tired quickly and that it would be awful especially with the thorns. Also if you were to spill the water you would have to walk all the way back to the well to refill the water.

4. One of the things that confirms that it is a certain tribe is that it depends on the kind of colours of paint or markings are on their face. Clothes is also one of them. The languages as well because most tribes speak different languages.
