Learning Book

For Home Room we have these writing challenges and I would like to show you mine.

Mad Monday Writing Challenge: It was midnight and supposedly Lucy and Esmeralda  were meant to be in bed. But the baby sitter was asleep so they snuck out and went to go find Grandpa George. Soon they found him in his office dozed off, with his glasses hanging in a weird position. Lucy smiled as she brung out the porridge and bugs they had brought. She poured the porridge onto George and put bugs all over him. Now he would have a nasty surprise in the morning.

Tricky Tuesday Writing Challenge:As mum left I made it my solemn duty to iron all the clothes in the house for my mother so she wouldn’t have to when she got home. As I got ready to iron a smell so disgusting it felt like a punch. As I looked at the basket I saw what was causing this horrible smell dad’s shirt. If i didn't know any better i would’ve called the fire department. I picked it up and hid it behind a shelf hopefully never to be found again.

This one below is my favourite one.

Weird Wednesday Writing Challenge:While Grandma was at bingo Jeremy snuck into the kitchen and walked towards the cabinet licking his lips. As he opened the cabinet door a giant water balloon got  thrown straight into his face pushing him back into another pressure plate which made flour drop from the top shelf and fall onto his head covering him head to toe. As he staggered away he stepped on a mouse trap and fell sideways. Suddenly, there was a knock on the door and Grandma came in smiling at him.

  1. These are great, Drew. It would be awesome if you could also add some images to your post - perhaps the challenge task photo? You are using some great vocabulary in your writing. Mad Monday is my favourite!
