The Makey Makey Workshop
On 27/02/19 me and my class MNL went to the Maori land shop and learnt how to use the makey makey and Kidscoin that we are going to use this year. We first watched a video of Kidscoin and how it works. After we got into groups and made a carrot piano and a paper controller. I was originally with Nicky, Niko, Tairua, Te Wano but I changed and went with Louis. We didn't have much time to make ours because we had to start over again. We had to make something out of aluminium foil and cardboard.
Me and Louis made a pool and I did the voice over using scratch and wired the stuff together so when you are touching a certain wire you can activate the voice over by touching the pencil. In the makey makey you use a USB to connect the chrome book to the makey makey. There was a hole where you put the wire and connect it to the creation then when you did that you had to connect a wire to yourself so that when you touched the pencil it started the voice over.
