My Essay

For our work for the week we are doing an essay. We have to use all the natural stages for the essay and I'm very excited because I love my writing I haven't finished it yet but I think it is pretty close.

My Essay

Introduction

In the novel'A Long Walk to Water' By Linda Sue Park, a character that I found interesting was a boy called Salva. Throughout the story Salva showed that he was Happy, Hardworking and a Leader but it costed him heaps. He went through many hardships and suffering to get to where he is today. Read on to find out more.

Paragraph 1

Salva was especially happy when he got to go to New York. He found a new family and started a new life in the city. He was overwhelmed with joy when he found out his dad was alive and went through heaps of hardships to get to and that brings us to the next subject.

Paragraph 2

Salva proved that he was a hard worker in many ways including how he made the project that helped millions of people in south Sudan. He always helped his father and never complained. He helped an old lady without question and managed to survive to go to New York where he made the project. Salva is one of the best role models and is a great leader.

Paragraph 3

Salva is a great leader without question, he managed to lead 20,000 CHILDREN across the whole of south Sudan and even managed to make it there. He was responsible and gave all the kids jobs to do to keep them alive all while he was one kid who was scared without his family and didn't know what to do.

Conclusion

Overall Salva is a great person and has helped millions of people survive in south Sudan and is a huge hero in the whole world he has inspired heaps of people around the globe and will always be an iconic hero.

Zoos Should Be Banned

Zoos should be banned

Zoos should be banned because of how tormented it could be for the animals. Did you know that Polar Bears have 1 million percent less space in the wild.

Like if you were being put in cages and then looked at laughed at all the time I’m pretty sure it would be terrifying, especially if they are not smart and are not used to a zoo. They might get scared and not like it. Although it isn’t good to keep the animals in the zoo, some of them like it and want to stay.

Also animals should be free and not caged (Unless their endangered species) and should be able to live in the wild and not be trapped in a zoo to be laughed at or put on display.

They should be able to roam free and just be able to do what they want,  They should make giant places for the animals to play around so they think that it is a normal place and they are not trapped though it would be better if they were free in the wild.

Overall the Zoos are just a place for entertainment for kids and adults and it is not fair on all the animals that are put inside of them. And that's why Zoos should be banned.

A Long Walk To Water Section-5

1. I think that she finds out that the boss is a laid back person but he is still stern when they don't listen and don't feel like doing work he encourages and that is good. I think it might not work with heaps of people in a village it won't work.

2. Salva and the boss are both similar because they both encourage and want the boys and the workers to succeed and they both talk to individuals if they don't want to work.

3. I think that he helped because he taught him how to read and write and maybe made his chance of leaving higher. I think that it is important that he learns as much as he can because it makes it easier to speak English and read it.

4. The lost boys are what the boys who got sent to America. I think I would be real home sick and would want to be with my family. I would take the chance though because I know it would be better.

A Long Walk To Water Section-4

1. I don't think that he would have given water to the men because he knew that it would be a waste and that he wouldn't be able to survive without it. Because if he did share it he would die of thirst.

2. Because he has to help in the war to prevent the rebels from killing more people and he knows that Salva can survive without him anyway so he knows he will be just fine.

3. I think that their attitude changes because his uncle isn't their to let him stay so they want him to leave because they think he will complain and whine about food and water. I don't think Salva will change their minds because they end up getting to the camp and splitting up anyway.

4. The fact that the people said that if their village was attacked that the people inside were most likely killed and didn't survive. The fact that he needed to survive for his uncle his friend and his family.
