Teaser Week An Impact In My Life

A Person Who Had A Impact On My Life

Personally my parents have had a really good impact on my life mainly because they have helped me through tough times and taught me a lot of useful things. My dad James taught me how to cook and how to do jobs in his bakery he also showed me how to play games. My mum Annette has shown me how to sew and do lots of things.

Another person who had a great impact on me was Rick Riordan a famous author who write all the Percy Jackson series and many others. He impacted my life because he inspired me to write and read and I really enjoyed reading his books. I think that he is the greatest author in the world.

  1. Kia Ora Drew,

I really like your blog post. You’ve summarised who has had an impact on your life and how very nicely. Well done. I particularly like that you included more than one person because lots of people impact us and make us who we are.

How cool that your dad taught you how to cook. My dad taught me too. His specialty is spaghetti bolognese. It’s his favourite thing to cook, and I think he makes the best one I’ve ever tasted. My mum taught me how to knit. It’s always good to have practical skills like cooking, sewing, and knitting. What other skills do you have?

Which of the Percy Jackson books is your favourite? I quite like ‘The Lightning Thief.

Perhaps you could look at these tips for making eye catching blog posts to help make your blog post more enticing to your readers. You could add a picture of the books, or even one of your favourite food.

    Hei konā mai,
    Shannon
